Abstract

The constraints to adoption of new technologies by small-scale Farmers in Delta State, Nigeria  was considered by the study. Findings showed that level of education, tenancy, farming type, Extension Agents  availability and social status showed significant level of constraints on adoption of new technologies. It was recommended that the farming constraints should be tackled by the relevant agencies that can appropriately handle each of the classified constraints.
